Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Parikshawallah ("we", "us") — a paid, timed online assessment platform. By registering an account or purchasing an exam, you agree to the terms below. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, purchasing an exam, or otherwise using Parikshawallah, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the platform.
2. Eligibility & your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials confidential — you're responsible for activity that happens under your login.
- If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms and be involved in your registration and any payment.
- One account per person. Sharing an account, or letting someone else take an exam using your account, is a breach of these terms and may result in the attempt being invalidated.
3. What Parikshawallah provides
We provide access to timed, server-scored online assessments. Each exam has a fixed start and end time shared with every registered student — if you start late, you get the remaining time in that window, not a fresh full-length attempt. Scoring, negative marking (where applicable), percentile, and rank are calculated by our servers after the exam window closes, never by your device. Results and leaderboards are released on the dates shown for each exam, not immediately after you submit.
4. Payments & pricing
Exams are individually priced and paid for in Indian Rupees (₹) through our payment partner, Razorpay, before you can start. Prices are shown clearly before checkout. Successful payment grants access to that specific exam only, for its scheduled window — it does not grant access to other exams or a subscription to future ones.
5. Refunds & cancellations
- Once you've started an exam attempt, the payment for that exam is non-refundable.
- If you purchased an exam but never started an attempt, and the exam window has not yet closed, you can request a refund by contacting us — refunds are considered case by case and, if approved, are issued to your original payment method within the timelines set by Razorpay.
- If we cancel or indefinitely postpone an exam you've paid for, or if a verified technical failure on our end prevented you from starting or completing your attempt, you're entitled to a full refund or, where offered, a free re-attempt.
- Refunds are not available for a poor score, personal circumstances that prevented you from attending, or issues with your own device, internet connection, or browser.
6. Exam conduct & proctoring
Some exams are strictly proctored. By starting one, you agree to:
- Take the exam alone, in a quiet space, with your camera and microphone enabled for the full duration.
- Stay in fullscreen, stay on the exam tab, and keep facing the screen throughout.
- Not use a phone, second device, notes, or another person for help during the exam.
Our system watches for tab switches, exiting fullscreen, no face or more than one face in frame, looking away for a sustained period, and sustained talking — each one raises a warning, shown to you on screen. After three warnings, your exam is submitted automatically and scored as-is; this cannot be reversed. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is and isn't recorded during this process (in short: nothing from your camera or microphone is ever saved — only the warning count).
7. Academic integrity
Impersonating another student, using unauthorised assistance, sharing exam questions during or after the exam window, or attempting to exploit or manipulate the platform (including its timer, scoring, or proctoring system) is a serious breach of these terms. We reserve the right to invalidate an affected attempt, withhold or revoke a result, and suspend or terminate the account involved, without a refund.
8. Intellectual property
All questions, explanations, branding, and platform content are the property of Parikshawallah or its content partners. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to attempt the exam you paid for — it does not give you the right to copy, redistribute, or republish questions or content, during the exam or after.
9. Results, scoring & disputes
Scores, percentile, and rank are calculated automatically and are final once results are published. If you believe there's a genuine error in your result (for example, a technical fault rather than disagreement with a scoring decision), contact us within 7 days of results being published and we'll investigate.
10. Limitation of liability
We work to keep the platform available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, Parikshawallah is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the exam in question.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms — including academic-integrity violations or repeated proctoring violations — without a refund for the affected exam. You can stop using the platform and ask us to delete your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for what we retain and why.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes, we'll let you know by email. Continuing to use Parikshawallah after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
